Worker Hurt in San Diego Construction Accident on Harbor Drive

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 12, 2022) — A worker suffered serious injuries in a construction accident on Harbor Drive at G Street Tuesday.
 
According to San Diego fire officials, the construction accident happened around 11:35 a.m. For unknown reasons, a worker fell about 15 feet below a construction site in downtown San Diego. As a result, the victim suffered traumatic injuries. Soon after, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department found the victim below ground level with serious injuries.
 
Due to the accident, the victim experienced an immobilized spine and sought care at a local hospital.
 
At this time, police have not released the ultimate cause of the incident. However, anyone with information should contact the San Diego Police.
