Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Etiwanda Avenue in Tarzana

 
TARZANA, CA (July 20, 2022) – A woman was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash at Etiwanda Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana on Friday.
 
The crash happened around 2:55 p.m. on July 15. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the woman was standing next to her vehicle when a four-door gray Chevrolet Spark heading south on Etiwanda veered to the right side of the roadway.
 
The Chevrolet then crashed into the woman and her vehicle.
 
After the crash, the driver of the Chevrolet did not stop to render aid.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
 
Police said the Chevrolet had a sticker on top of the front windshield. It may have damage to the right side.
 
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
