Two-Vehicle Accident on Brentwood Boulevard Kills 72-Year-Old Woman

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (June 28, 2021) – A 72-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Brentwood Boulevard at Grant Street Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. on June 27. The East Contra Costa Fire District firefighters responded to the scene and located two vehicles with major damage.
 
Paramedics found the woman in one vehicle and pronounced her dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
A man who was driving the other car suffered major injuries.
 
Both drivers were sole occupants of their vehicles, the CHP said.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The Brentwood Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident, who has not already been interviewed, to contact the Brentwood Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit at (925) 809-7911.
