Fatal Rollover Accident on San Justo Road in San Juan Bautista

 
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, CA (February 3, 2021) – A woman died in a rollover accident on San Justo Road Saturday, January 16 in San Juan Bautista, authorities said.
 
The accident happened around 10:15 p.m. on San Justo Road near Lucy Brown Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a Dodge Charger westbound on San Justo Road. For unknown reasons, the car veered to the left and collided with a dirt embankment and fence. It then rolled over multiple times.
 
As a result, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Authorities only described her as 33-year-old San Juan Bautista resident.
 
A 34-year-old passenger in the car sustained minor injuries.
 
Investigators believe that alcohol impairment may have been a factor in the rollover accident on San Justo Road. However, police are looking into this lead.
