Woman Dies in North Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on 80 Freeway

 
NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA (May 10, 2021) — A woman died in a pedestrian crash on the 80 Freeway near Madison Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. in the eastbound lanes. For unknown reasons, the woman was walking in the middle lane of the freeway when three vehicles struck her.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and pronounced her dead at the scene. At this time, the woman’s identity and the ultimate cause and factors of the crash require further investigation.
