Homeless Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Pickup Truck on North Macy Street in Muscoy

 
MUSCOY, CA (September 30, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident at North Macy Street and Blake Street in Muscoy on Thursday.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:55 a.m. on September 29. According to the California Highway Patrol, the female pedestrian was crossing the street when a silver Dodge Ram 1500 struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered major injuries. Paramedics rushed her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she later died.
 
Officers said the victim was homeless. They withheld her identity at this time.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
