Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Leeward Drive in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (June 30, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident at Leeward Drive and Arden Way in San Jose on Tuesday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:50 p.m. on June 28. According to the San Jose Police Department, the female pedestrian was crossing the intersection when a car struck her.
 
The woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite life-saving efforts, she succumbed to her injuries Wednesday.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
