SUSANVILLE, CA (July 5, 2022) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 395 in Susanville on Saturday afternoon, July 2.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:00 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the female pedestrian was walking in the middle of the roadway when a vehicle struck her.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian fatal injuries and she died at the scene.
