Woman Dies in Carmichael Pedestrian Accident near Fair Oaks Boulevard

 
CARMICHAEL, CA (April 15, 2021) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident near Fair Oaks Boulevard and Marshall Avenue this week.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers found a woman with serious injuries near the intersection. Shortly after, paramedics responded and transported the middle-aged female victim to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, where she died.
 
For unknown reasons, a 59-year-old driver operating a Ford Fusion struck the woman. However, authorities have no information on the events that led to the impact.
 
At this time, CHP plans to investigate all angles of this case after having ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors. Although, if anyone has more information on this incident, please contact your local police department or CHP.
