Pedestrian Dies after Struck by SUV on East Bradley Avenue in El Cajon

 
EL CAJON, CA (August 16, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on East Bradley Avenue in El Cajon early Sunday, August 14.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. just west of North Mollison Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was crossing the street when a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander struck her.
 
First responders attempted saving the woman, who eventually died at the scene.
 
Authorities only identified the victim as a 28-year-old El Cajon resident.
 
The driver of the SUV was not injured and remained on scene.
 
The fatal crash is still under investigation. Police do not believe drugs and alcohol were contributing factors.
