VICTORVILLE, CA (August 31, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on D Street in Victorville on Tuesday morning, August 30.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:31 a.m. near 11th Street. According to the Victorville Police Department, the female pedestrian walked across the street when a silver four-door Chevrolet sedan struck her.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was not yet identified. Authorities only described her as a Hispanic female.
 
The driver of the sedan remained on scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
 
The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation.
