Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Cedar Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 19, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Cedar Avenue near Shaw Avenue in northeast Fresno Sunday, April 18.
 
The accident happened just before midnight, according to the Fresno Police Department. Police said an unknown car collided with the female pedestrian along the northbound lanes.
 
The driver of the car stopped and called police. Officers arrived soon after and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
 
The victim was not yet identified but authorities believe she was homeless.
 
At this time, the fatal accident is still under investigation.
