Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Sedan on Arlington Avenue in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 28, 2023) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Arlington Avenue in Riverside Saturday morning on February 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection with Via San Jose. According to the Riverside Police Department, a black Chevrolet sedan was traveling westbound on Arlington when it struck the pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
 
First responders rushed the woman to Riverside Community Hospital with significant injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts at the hospital, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. They were unharmed.
