PALMDALE, CA (December 13, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident at 25th Street East and Joshua Hills Drive in Palmdale, early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:14 a.m. on December 12. According to a lieutenant at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, the female pedestrian was walking at the intersection when a vehicle struck her.
 
Arriving paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash. It is also unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
An investigation into the fatality is ongoing.
