Lancaster Pedestrian Accident on 15th Street West Turns Deadly

 
LANCASTER, CA (March 28, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on 15th Street West near Avenue J-8 in Lancaster Friday evening.
 
Around 8:20 p.m., the woman was chasing two suspected robbers who were running from an apartment complex after attempting to rob a man.
 
While the victim was running on the road, a light-colored sedan struck her, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
 
As a result, the victim suffered significant injuries and died at the hospital.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver remained or fled the scene.
 
An investigation into this accident is ongoing.
