Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash on 15 Freeway in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on the 15 Freeway near Ocean View Boulevard.
 
According to a San Diego County Department Medical Examiner report, the fatal pedestrian crash happened on November 8 around 4:53 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, the victim, believed to be a homeless woman in San Diego, was reportedly walking along the 15 Freeway before a vehicle struck her.
 
Soon after, First Responders arrived at the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Subsequently, crews transported her to the UCSD Medical Center where medical staff pronounced her dead at 6:25 p.m. The unidentified victim died of multiple blunt-force injuries.
 
At this time, the woman remains unidentified.
