Multi-Vehicle Accident on 605 Freeway in Seal Beach Kills 1, Injures 2

 
SEAL BEACH, CA (May 30, 2022) – A woman died in a multi-vehicle accident on 605 Freeway in Seal Beach early Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:29 a.m. on May 30 at the 405 Freeway connector. According to CHP, several vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters immediately responded and confirmed that a female occupant died at the scene, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
 
Paramedics rushed two men as trauma patients to a hospital.
 
The CHP issued a SigAlert for southbound 605 Freeway lanes from Willow Avenue in Long Beach. At around 4:30 a.m., the far right lane was opened to traffic.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
