Woman Dies in Multi-Car Collision on 91 Freeway in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (June 3, 2022) — A woman died in a multi-car crash on the 91 Freeway near Long Beach Boulevard on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly multi-vehicle collision took place around 1:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a woman smashed into the rear of a second car, sending her car spinning out and facing in the wrong direction.
 
Subsequently, a third vehicle became involved as its driver, traveling in the adjacent lane, collided head-on with her vehicle.
 
As a result of the accident, the woman suffered fatal injuries and two others suffered unknown wounds.
