OLIVEHURST, CA (October 12, 2021) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Powerline Road in Olivehurst late Sunday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:10 p.m. on October 10, at 7th Avenue near the Yuba County Airport. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 54-year-old woman was walking in the area when a southbound small gray truck with a lift kit struck her.
 
After hitting the victim, the involved driver took off without rendering aid.
 
The victim, whose name was not immediately available, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
CHP officials are still on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect. They asked anyone with information to contact their office at (530)-674-5141.
