Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Palmdale Boulevard

 
PALMDALE, CA (August 30, 2021) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Palmdale Boulevard near 5th Street last Thursday.
 
According to authorities, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 8:23 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a dark-colored small SUV failed to stop after hitting the woman. In the investigation, authorities learned that she was walking south across Palmdale Boulevard at the time the incident had occurred.
 
Due to the nature of the accident, the unidentified victim died at the scene.
