Woman Dies in Sun Valley Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Glenoaks Boulevard

 
SUN VALLEY, CA (March 2, 2021) — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Glenoaks Boulevard near Vinedale Street Friday evening.
 
According to officers, the deadly incident happened around 7:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 2001 Toyota Camry driver struck a woman outside of a marked crosswalk. As a result of the impact, she landed on the road where two other vehicles ran over her.
 
Shortly after, Los Angeles County Fire responded yet pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, police interviewed the Toyota driver and learned that two other cars struck the woman.
 
At this time, the two other drivers remain outstanding. However, detectives will offer a reward of up to $50,000 for any help that can lead to the suspects.
