Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on Beach Boulevard in Stanton

 
STANTON, CA (January 17, 2022) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Beach Boulevard and Lampson Avenue, early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on January 16. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the woman was either walking or standing in the area when a car struck her.
 
The motorist fled the scene without rendering aid, leaving the woman with fatal injuries.
 
Authorities pronounced the woman dead at the scene. They only described her as someone in her 50s.
 
The car was described as a 2007-09 Toyota Camry. Its color was not specified.
