Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on Dickenson Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 10, 2021) – A woman died Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run accident at Dickenson Avenue and Olive Avenue.
 
According to the ABC30 News, the hit-and-run accident happened around 9:30 p.m.
 
Officers said the woman was driving north when she lost control of her car, causing it to roll over. The woman was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected into the traffic lane.
 
While lying in the roadway, another vehicle traveling southbound then struck the woman.
 
As a result, the unidentified woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the other vehicle did not stop to render aid.
 
The CHP is now working to find the hit-and-run driver and their vehicle. Officers are also investigating the exact cause of the initial crash.
