Passenger Dies after Car Crashes on Pioneer Road in Plumas County

 
PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (October 30, 2021) – A woman was killed in a car accident on Pioneer Road at Mountain View Road near Greenville area of Plumas County.
 
The accident happened around 10:19 p.m. on Monday, October 25. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling in the area when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only described the victim as a 38-year-old female resident of Newberry Springs.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately known.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
