Woman Dies in Fullerton Accident on Magnolia Avenue

 
FULLERTON, CA (February 2, 2021) – A woman died Wednesday morning after a major car accident on Magnolia Avenue in Fullerton.
 
According to Fullerton police, the accident happened around 10:00 a.m. near Valencia Drive.
 
Police said a 36-year-old man was erratically driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when he veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a southbound Toyota Corolla. The Silverado overturned and crashed into a 2010 Ford Edge.
 
At the same time, the Corolla slammed into a 2006 Nissan Altima.
 
As a result of the accident, the 21-year-old female driver of the Corolla and her 18-year-old passenger were trapped inside the car. Paramedics transported both patients to a hospital.
 
Tragically, the Corolla driver died shortly after arrival. Her passenger was in critical condition.
 
The Silverado driver was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 50-year-old male driver of the Ford also sustained critical injuries.
 
Police investigators will determine if alcohol or drugs factored into the cause of the collision.
