Woman Dead in Tujunga Crash on Big Tujunga Canyon Road

 
TUJUNGA, CA (April 19, 2021) — A woman died in an accident on Big Tujunga Canyon Road near Trail Canyon Road Friday evening.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 6:46 p.m. For unknown reasons, a vehicle went over the side of a cliff on Big Tujunga Canyon Road. Per one report, a second vehicle somehow became involved. However, authorities have not confirmed this account as of late.
 
Following the crash, paramedics airlifted an infant and two injured women to Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center. One woman, however, died in the crash after the vehicle tumbled about 100 feet over the side of the cliff.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. Although, if any witnesses have information on this fatal crash, please contact the authorities.
