Hit-and-Run Crash on Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa Sends Pedestrian to Hospital

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (January 11, 2022) – A woman was injured in a pedestrian hit-and-run on Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. on January 7, just west of Doubles Drive. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the 35-year-old woman from Santa Rosa was walking in the eastbound lane of Sebastopol Road outside of a marked crosswalk when a pickup truck hit her.
 
After hitting the victim, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and took the woman to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
 
Police believe the woman was hit by a Chevy Silverado made in the late 1990s, but investigators do not know the vehicle’s color.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. An investigation is still ongoing.
