Woman Struck and Injured by Her Son’s Father in Pedestrian Accident on Montgomery Street

 
EUREKA, CA (February 28, 2022) — A woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Montgomery Street on Sunday, February 27.
 
The accident occurred in the 3300 block of Montgomery Street just outside of Eureka shortly before 8:45 a.m.
 
According to early reports, the woman and the man share custody of a 3-year-old son. The man allegedly kidnapped the child. Then he struck the woman with a Hyundai Santa Fe that has Washington license plates and tinted windows.
 
Police believe that the man may be on the way to Arcata. There are no reports if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
