Stay alert wherever you are. This is especially true in high pedestrian activity areas, such as schools, intersections and neighborhoods. Slow down near marked crosswalks and avoid trying to pass another vehicle stopped at a crosswalk. When you rush to your destination, you fail to see what is in front of you.
