Woman Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Wood Street in Willows
WILLOWS, CA (October 7, 2022) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Wood Street near Shasta Street.
According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian accident happened on October 1 around 5:48 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman trying to cross Wood Street.
Witnesses reported seeing the car drive eastbound on Wood Street to an unknown destination.
Soon after, deputies and paramedics responded to find the 63-year-old female pedestrian on the road with critical injuries. Paramedics subsequently brought her to a hospital for immediate care.
