Woman Hurt in Westminster Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Klamath Drive

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (June 30, 2022) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Klamath Drive at Iroquois Road.
 
According to Westminster police, the hit-and-run accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday. A woman, known to walk her three dogs, suffered serious injuries when a silver Ford Explorer bearing through a four-way stop sign intersection struck her.
 
Rather than pulling over to help, the driver fled the scene.
 
Soon after, authorities responded and brought her to UC Irvine Medical Center, where she is expected to survive her critical injuries.
