Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Espee Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 7, 2021) — A woman suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Espee Street near Q Street on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, the accident happened around 4:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck the woman in the 700 block of Espee Street.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and brought the victim to a hospital. However, authorities found no sign of the driver.
 
At this time, the driver remains unaccounted for. Although, anyone with information should call the police.
