Woman Hurt in Compton Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Atlantic Avenue

 
COMPTON, CA (May 3, 2022) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Atlantic Avenue at Alondra Boulevard on Sunday.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday. For unknown reasons, an unidentified driver struck a female bicyclist and fled the scene.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and took the woman to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Although, authorities have not indicated her current condition.
 
At this time, officers need the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in this hit-and-run crash. Therefore, if anyone has more information, please reach out to the police department.
