Woman Ejected in DUI Accident on Highway 101 near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road

 
GOLETA, CA (June 7, 2021) — A woman sustained injuries after a DUI accident on Highway 101 at around 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 3.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on southbound Highway 101 near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road off-ramp.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a car that crashed off the road into a palm tree.
 
CHP said that two females were in the vehicle. The impact ejected one and she sustained major injuries.
 
Officials reported that alcohol was a factor in the cause of the incident.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
