FORT BRAGG, CA (May 4, 2022) — A woman was injured after a car crashed into a train on Main Street near Fir Street on Saturday.
 
According to reports, the incident happened around 12:00 p.m. For what officers believe was a medical emergency, a woman heading southbound on Main Street veered into the northbound lane. Subsequently, her vehicle drove onto the east sidewalk and crashed into the last rail passenger car of a moving train.
 
Fortunately, no one on board the train reported any injuries. However, Fort Bragg Fire Personnel assisted the woman from her vehicle and took her to Adventist Health Mendocino Coast Hospital for medical treatment.
