MISSION VALLEY, CA (July 11, 2022) – A woman was hurt in a multi-vehicle accident on 8 Freeway in Mission Valley on Saturday morning, July 9.
 
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. just east of 805 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved several vehicles including a Toyota Camry, a Volkswagen Tiguan and Nissan Armada.
 
The Camry rear-ended the Civic, causing four other vehicles to collide with each other.
 
Responding paramedics transported one female driver to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
It is unclear if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
