Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Pedestrian Accident on Imperial Avenue in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 3, 2022) – Paramedics transported a woman to the hospital after a hit-and-run accident on Imperial Avenue on January 31.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the parking lot of Mullen’s Liquor around 11:41 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was walking to her parked vehicle at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a gray vehicle, possibly a Honda Fit, began backing out of the parking spot and hit her. Subsequently, the impact knocked the woman to the ground.
As a result, the victim suffered a broken leg in the incident. Authorities said crews transported her to the hospital for treatment.
At this point, the San Diego Police Department is still investigating the case. Also, no other details are available.
