EUREKA, CA (June 20, 2022) — A woman hit and injured by two scooters on E Street at 8th Street suffered a possible head injury on Friday afternoon.
 
According to the Eureka Police Department, the scooter crash happened around 12:30 p.m. As the woman was walking past a bush onto a sidewalk, two people on Bird scooters riding on the sidewalk subsequently struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered a head injury and was taken to a hospital shortly thereafter.
