Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Watsonville Pedestrian Accident on Rodriguez Street

WATSONVILLE, CA (December 6, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Rodriguez Street on December 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Beach Street around 3:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, the woman was crossing the street at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an F-250 truck struck her.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died due to severe injuries. As of now, officials have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
After the crash, the driver of the F-250 stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers at the scene.
 
At this point, the Watsonville Police Department is still investigating the cause of the collision. In addition, no other details are available.
