PEARBLOSSOM, CA (October 9, 2024) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 138 near Palmdale Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 12:11 a.m. Tuesday. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck an object on the road, not knowing it was a woman. Subsequently, CHP officers responded to Highway 138 near Palmdale Road where they found the victim who passed away.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. They have not released her name or age.
