1 Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Camino Del Rio in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 1, 2024) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Camino Del Rio at Kurtz Street.
According to the San Diego Police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 9:34 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver left the scene after hitting a 40-year-old pedestrian who was in a marked crosswalk walking against a Don’t Walk traffic signal. The driver who had the green light left in a dark-colored vehicle.
Due to the crash, the woman passed away from severe injuries and authorities have yet to identify her. If anyone has more information on this fatal hit-and-run, contact San Diego Police.
