VICTORVILLE, CA (August 6, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died after sustaining critical injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 395 on August 4.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Dos Palmas Road around 6:07 AM.
 
Based on reports, a white Chevy Silverado pickup truck and a silver 2011 Toyota Camry collided head-on.
 
Subsequently, the driver of the sedan was trapped inside the vehicle. Also, both vehicles sustained major damage.
 
As a result, the woman in the sedan sustained life-threatening injuries. Victorville City Firefighters used the jaws of life to extricate her from the car. Then, they sent her to a local hospital, where she died. Officials identified her as a 24-year-old woman from Moreno Valley. Also, two other people from the truck were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
