YUBA COUNTY, CA (September 26, 2022) — A woman died in a head-on accident on New York Flat Road near Idlewood Circle on Friday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:45 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 27-year-old woman driving a southbound truck on New York Flat Road collided head-on with a northbound truck.
 
Due to the impact, the woman’s truck rolled over.
 
Responding authorities found the uninjured northbound driver and the woman from El Dorado with fatal injuries.
