Woman Killed in 3-Car Crash on Highway 43 in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (August 26, 2022)— A woman died in a 3-car accident on Highway 43 near Avenue 152 on Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the three-vehicle collision occurred around 4:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a woman driving northbound on Highway 43 veered into the southbound lane.
 
Subsequently, her car struck an oncoming vehicle before a third car T-Boned her.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel reached the scene and declared the woman deceased on arrival. Meanwhile, paramedics brought two people in the third car to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not indicated if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm any outstanding details.
