Woman Killed in Oroville Pedestrian Accident on Oro Dam Boulevard

 
OROVILLE, CA (September 9, 2021) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Oro Dam Boulevard near 14th Street Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Oroville Police Department, the fatal incident unfolded around 6:22 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman who was reportedly walking along Oro Dam Boulevard.
 
Following the crash, the driver immediately pulled over and contacted authorities.
 
Shortly after, police and paramedics responded to the scene but pronounced the victim deceased on arrival. Meanwhile, officers interviewed the driver who cooperated with the police throughout the investigation.
 
At this time, the victim’s identity and the circumstances of the crash require additional investigation. Although, any witnesses with information should contact the Oroville Police.
