Two-Vehicle Accident at Shaw and Cedar Avenues Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

 
FRESNO, CA (June 1, 2021) – A woman in her 20s was in critical condition after a two-vehicle accident at Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue in northeast Fresno early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on May 30, near the Fresno State Campus. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan ran a red light at the intersection when a blue truck slammed into it. The impact caused the sedan to roll over.
 
As a result, the female driver of the sedan suffered severe injuries. Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger in the blue truck had minor injuries.
 
The CHP is still investigating the accident.
