Woman Suffers Critical Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run SUV on Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel

 
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (July 11, 2022) – A 24-year-old woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel early Saturday, July 9.
 
The crash happened just after 1:30 a.m. between Golden Lantern and Nueva Vista. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, a dark-colored 2014-18 Suburu Forrester struck the woman and fled the scene.
 
When officers arrived, they found the woman suffering from severe injuries. Paramedics took the woman to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Authorities believe the vehicle fled westbound on Crown Valley Parkway toward Pacific Coast Highway. It should have sustained damage to the front right and side view mirror.
