Woman, 3 Children Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run 2-Car Crash on 111th Place

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 10, 2023) — A woman and three children were critically injured in a hit-and-run 2-car accident on 111th Place near Main Street.
 
According to Los Angeles Fire Department officials, the major injury crash happened around 8:00 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a silver Mercedes struck an SUV, driven by a 35-year-old woman and occupied by a 13-year-old, 16-year-old and 18-month-old.
 
Due to the impact, the Mercedes sedan ruptured into flames and the SUV struck a nearby building.
 
Los Angeles firefighters arrived and found no one inside the silver Mercedes, leading them to believe that the driver fled on foot. However, they found four people inside the SUV.
 
Paramedics conducted rescue efforts for the 13-year-old boy and 18-month-old boy who were in cardiac arrest due to traumatic injuries. Both remain in grave condition, and the mother and 16-year-old girl, who was in the passenger seat, are in critical condition.
