42-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after Crash in Granada Hills

 
GRANADA HILLS, CA (October 27, 2021) – William Seidel Jr. died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway in Granada Hills Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 5:24 a.m. on October 24, just north of 210 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, Seidel was riding a 2000 Honda CBR 600 northbound when he struck a pickup truck while changing lanes.
 
Seidel was ejected from the Honda and into traffic lanes, where he was struck by passing vehicles. He died at the scene. He was a 42-year-old Stevenson Ranch resident, the coroner’s office said.
 
The CHP’s Newhall area office urged anyone with information to call them at 661-600-1600.
