William Letson Detained in DUI Crash on 80 Freeway near Reed Avenue

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 10, 2022) — William Letson faces charges in Friday’s DUI accident on the 80 Freeway near Reed Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car accident happened around 3:00 a.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, 33-year-old Letson drove his westbound Acura RDX into the back of a Toyota Prius. As a result of the impact, the Prius traveled to the right shoulder and struck a CHP vehicle while an Acura TL struck Letson’s car.
 
As a result of the accident, a CHP officer and three others sustained unknown injuries. At this time, officers have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident.
 
However, they do believe that Letson of Sacramento might have been under the influence while driving.
